Meet Maché Beukes: A Dedicated and Creative Educator for the Kameelperd Class

We are excited to introduce Maché Beukes, a passionate educator in the Kameelperd Class, dedicated to nurturing our 2 to 3-year-old learners. With three years of experience and a deep commitment to early childhood development, Maché creates a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves.
Building a Foundation for Lifelong Learning
Maché holds an Early Childhood Development NQF 5 qualification, which forms the backbone of her teaching approach. She believes in creating opportunities for learners to develop holistically, focusing on their well-being, identity, and sense of belonging. Through her carefully designed activities, Maché encourages communication, creativity, mathematical exploration, and an understanding of the world around them.
Sensory Play: A Journey of Discovery
One of Maché's favorite classroom activities is sensory play. She delights in watching her learners' reactions as they experience new tastes, smells, and textures. By immersing children in these sensory-rich experiences, she fosters curiosity and helps them connect with their environment in meaningful ways.

Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, Maché uses her bilingual skills to communicate effectively with children and parents, ensuring an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Fun Fact: Adventurous and Artistic
Outside of teaching, Maché enjoys riding off-road bikes and drawing in her free time—two activities that reflect her adventurous spirit and creativity, which she also brings into the classroom.
